Grammy-nominated family entertainer Billy Kelly is bringing his squeaky-clean comedy home to his native Bellmore for an all-ages matinee show. Billy’s G-rated humor has been described as “comedy toast with the crust cut off — if that crust was made of swear words and jokes about dating.” So basically there is none of that stuff — just good clean laughs and absurd fun that people of all ages can enjoy together. Because the world needs more of that sort of thing!

Over the course of his 20 year entertainment career Billy Kelly has opened for President Barack Obama, recorded a duet with Davy Jones of The Monkees, and (on two separate occasions) been paid in donuts. National Public Radio program “All Things Considered” has praised Billy Kelly’s “endearingly oddball sense of humor” and TimeOut NY has called him “Hilarious!”

Billy Kelly is on tour promoting his first comedy album, the aptly-titled "My First Comedy Album" which spotlights his quirky, lighthearted, absurd take on life. Featuring clever wordplay, not-that-clever wordplay, pretty-dumb wordplay, two songs, impressions and at least one poop joke, "My First Comedy Album" is lots of laffs and totally safe for family listening.

"Like any great album, “My First Comedy Album” holds together as a total work as well as in individual bits. Kelly is a natural, as is the delighted response of his multi-generational audience."  —Kathy O'Connell, Kids Corner, WXPN Philadelphia.

This show is recommended for families with kids ages 8 and up.
